Welcome to Great Eccleston & District
Gardening Club

The club was formed in 1993 and currently has over 60 members.  Our aim is to provide our members with information about gardening and access to it in all its aspects.  Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of each month at the W.I. Hall in Gt. Eccleston at 7.30 p.m.

The meetings largely feature talks and demonstrations by gardening experts but have ocasionally included wider interest talks such as 'Wine Making from Garden Produce' and 'Honeybees in the Garden'.  At most meetings we have a stall selling plants which are donated by members.  We also own a library of books which were donated to us and may be borrowed by members free of charge.  This is being supplemented by the addition of videos on gardening and related subjects.

A thrice-yearly newsletter is produced free to keep members informed of what club events are scheduled and it also provides useful gardening information and tips.

Visitors and new members are always very welcome.
